You’re probably familiar with 15-minute visits that start late, begin with questions from a nurse and end with quick prescriptions from the rheumatologist. You leave frustrated, with the same unanswered questions you had when you arrived.
Here, your in-person or telehealth appointment starts on time. Your first visit always takes about an hour, and you’ll spend all of it with Dr. Girnita.
You’ll have plenty of time to explain your health journey, ask questions, and get clear explanations and answers that make sense.
If you’re considering making an appointment and have any questions at all about how we provide care or what to expect, please email or call us.
An initial consultation with Dr. Girnita is required to make sure that we’re able to help you.
A $50 deposit is due when you book the appointment and will be credited towards the cost of your initial visit, which is $499.
If you and Dr. Girnita agree that ongoing treatment would be helpful, you can choose either our monthly membership plan or pay for visits and other services individually (“fee for service”).
Once you make your appointment, you’ll send prior labs, imaging and medical records. By the time we talk, I’ll be familiar with your clinical history.
So our conversation starts with you: Your health journey, your concerns, your priorities and goals.
Next, I’ll do a physical exam and pain assessment either in person or by secure HIPAA-compliant video.
Then, I’ll explain why your previous lab and imaging tests were done and what they mean. I’ll call your radiologist myself if you and I have questions.
I’ll explain your diagnosis and treatment options, any additional tests I recommend, and answer all your questions, no matter how long it takes.
Together, we’ll decide on your treatment plan and next steps.
